VISION

Neighborhood Home Solutions (NHS) is a not-for-profit neighborhood revitalization and community development organization that was incorporated in 1980.

We are dedicated to helping people improve their financial well-being, qualify for home ownership, maintain their home after purchase, learn how to avoid foreclosure and in the unfortunate event intervening as an advocate for any person facing a foreclosure action.

NHS strengthens and supports our local community through the construction of affordable housing for individuals currently underserved by private developers. Our mission is to provide new construction opportunities for those households not being adequately served in the current marketplace.

As one of the few approved U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) organizations in the area, our HUD certified staff are highly trained experts in the services we offer.

We believe home ownership is not only good for an individual or family but also, for the entire community.

To partner with you every step of the way – providing information and tools for NHS clients seeking to finance, own or maintain their home as well as opportunities to purchase one of the homes developed by NHS.
