NHS Rain Garden Project

NHS partnered with Florida Suncoast Sierra Club, Keep Pinellas Beautiful, and Bartlett Park Neighborhood Association to secure a Tampa Bay Estuary Program Mini-Grant to install a public Florida natives demonstration rain garden. By installing a Florida native rain and edible garden at NHS, they help reduce storm water runoff, conserve water resources, reduce the use of fertilizer and pesticides and can gain food access and security.
