New Homebuyer Assistance and Education

We are able to help people purchase homes who traditionally would not qualify or know how to obtain conventional mortgages. – Deborah Scanlan / NHS President

NHS can help you find out if you qualify for home ownership. Don’t let your past influence your decision to pick up the phone, email or visit us today for free information. We have tools available that could put you in your own home. Imagine the possibilities with Neighborhood Home Solutions.

For most of us, buying a home is the largest purchase we will ever make. So making that decision without doing your homework could be financially devastating. We offer a free and fun, interactive class that will help you make informed decisions.

Homebuyer Education Class:

• Teaches you how to determine how much you can afford to spend on a home, which does not always line up with what lenders offer to loan you.
• Explains types of insurance you may need including homeowners, flood, sinkhole, etc.
• Eliminates the myths about consumer credit and explains how to use it and protect it.
• Details how to work with a realtor, title company and lenders.
• Educates you about how to maintain your home after closing.

It would have served me better to know about the course before I ventured into the process of buying a home. Once I got to the course it was eye opening. There was a lot of good information. – NHS Client

After home buyer education we help people with finances to buy that home and we have finance partners, lender partners, we have title company partners so ….a whole gamut of partners that help the individual to learn and make the right decision for them. – Deborah Scanlan / NHS President

Some lenders require you to attend our Homebuyer Education class in order to meet one of the qualifications for the loan. At the end of the class, all participants will receive a certificate of completion.
